The big picture
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join SALT team and assists in tax returns and in resolving any sales tax notices related to compliance services.
We will trust you to:
- Prepare monthly reconciliation files for Sales and Use Tax accounts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Sales and Use Tax returns for all registered US jurisdictions
- Includes working with SAP and Vertex (as well as other ERP and tax engine software) on a weekly basis
- Complete the online filing & payment process for all returns due
Requirements
- 0 – 1 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Good MS Office skills, especially in using Excel
- Fluency in English (Written and Verbal Skills)
- Ability to organize large amounts of data
- Great attention to detail
- Good communication skills with proactive, supportive and positive approach
- SAP/ORACLE knowledge is a plus
