Position Title: Waiter ( Male )
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic waiter to join our team at a 3/4-star hotel/restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests, taking and delivering orders, and ensuring a clean and tidy dining area.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers upon arrival and escort them to their tables
- Present menus and make recommendations based on customer preferences
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils
- Attend to customer requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Handle cash and credit card transactions and maintain accurate records of transactions
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables before and after service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure prompt and efficient service
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers to customers
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a waiter or in a similar role in a 3/4-star hotel/restaurant environment
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle customer complaints
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and etiquette
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent
