What is the Opportunity?
We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic hands on Service Technician & Installer to join our Projects Team in Auckland. This role will be a balance of installation and servicing work. The role suits a person with any trade experience including building, electrical, technician or equipment installations and who is interested or has their EAS or EST Qualification.
This is a full time role and you will be provided with a company service vehicle, mobile phone, and laptop.
Our products “Empower Movement” and you will find satisfaction in knowing the work you do makes a positive difference. You will Report directly to the Project Manager and gain the skills and experience for this specialist work.
Your role will involve:
- Using your knowledge and experience on construction sites to carry out installation of patient ceiling lifts, flusher disinfectors and other equipment into a wide range of medical and care facilities;
- Using your skills to assist with project management and sales of our equipment to our customers and promoting Arjo’s products and services;
- Travel to projects throughout New Zealand;
- Liaise with a range of stake holders to ensure equipment is designed and Installed to a high standard and ensure they are fit for purpose;
- Undertaking service and ongoing support of equipment and customers both onsite and in our warehouse;
- Being a valuable team member and working alongside our team to promote and support our various business functions.
To be successful in this position, you will possess:
- A strong desire to achieve a high level of professional customer service;
- Ability to read, understand and install equipment in accordance to architects plans;
- A full Driver’s License and good personal presentation;
- Electrical Appliance Serviceperson (EAS) or Electrical Service Technician (EST) qualification and EWRB registration is an advantage;
- Experience on construction sites an advantage;
- Good communication skills and be able to work both autonomously and in a team.
