GBS Shanghai team is one of two GBS centers in Pandora. GBS Shanghai team services scope is to cover all legal entities in APAC region.
As AR manager in GBS Shanghai team, you will be leading 10+ subordinates to deliver services of Order to Cash tower. The role is based in Shanghai with reporting line to GBS Director. Your peers are managers of AP manager and GL manager. You will work very closely and frequently including but not limited to BD, SDP, Ecommerce, Sales, Retail, commercial finance and FP&A team across entities in APAC region.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for staff & organization within AR team. Ensuring the optimal composition and motivation of the department,
- Ensuring a service and performance culture in the AR department,
- Ensuring the realization of tasks for AR team according to good practice and Service Level Agreements, and securing a valid data-output for further analysis,
- Responsible for the AR cost-budget,
- Responsible for keeping the AR process flows up to date, well-documented and described in the SSC database,
- Being up to date on the professional and IT-technical development within the AR processes,
- Responsible for knowledge sharing of AR processes round the Pandora-business and updating the AR website at the SharePoint,
- Responsible of updating the KPI’s for AR processes,
- Responsible for AR processes meeting the requirements of the Law and the requirements of the auditors according to the recorded materials and the internal controls due to the Pandora bookkeeping rules,
- Other Ad-hoc jobs assigned by group or line manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience with accounting from a Shared Services organization or an international company. Working experience in retail industry is preferred.
- Big 4 auditor background is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience with proven experience with staff management,
- Good command of English for both oral and written. Need frequently call meetings with colleagues in Pacific and Europe.
- Qualified in Finance & Accounting signifying in depth knowledge and solid overview of the finance function,
- Familiar with IFRS audit requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail,
- Strong team player,
- Can set direction and be a role model for subordinates,
- Excellent communication skills (ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner and listen attentively to others),
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Can work under great pressure and self-motivated. Possible to OT in Chinese holiday to fulfill the group standard closing schedule.
