Associate Director, Filling & Packaging Engineering – Germany & Scandinavia
What to Expect:
1) Support the delivery of the CCEP CSSC objectives at lowest cost, high efficiency and in quality norms by leading, Developing & delivering the following key engineering agenda:
- Cross BU Planning & delivering of the Filling & Packaging infrastructure capital projects for capacity, capability & Innovation
- Provide governance for the Filling & Packaging functional capital projects across all multiple BU’s
- Develop CCEP filling & packaging supplier base to fulfill CCEP’s current and future investment needs
Embed & grow the engineering competance of the Filling & Packaging Engineering Project managers . Support the competence and growth of project managers in adjacent engineering project management functions: Warehousing & Logistics and Process & Utilities
2) Cross BU (Germany & Scandinavia) capital projects for capacity, capability & Innovation :
- Translate CCEP filling & packaging capacity , capability and innovation needs into clear specific projects. Lead the development of the design, spec, costs and plans and deliver the projects through the Filling & packaging project team.
- From time to time – as needed – manage capital projects directly
3) Provide governance for the Filling & Packaging functional capital projects:
- Ensure all projects are run assording to the CCEP Engineering Project management System
- Ensure all filling and packaging projects are run safely, efficently and effectively and ensuring adequate financial controls are in place.
- Support adjacent engineering project functions (Warehousing & Logistics and Process & Utiliities) in Project management System Implementation and overall project governance
4) Supplier management:
- Develop CCEP’s supplier base to make sure we maintain cost effective solutions for our production line projects.
5)Embed & grow the engineering competance of the Filling & Packaging Engineering Project managers:
- Develop and support Project Mangers in effective Project Management Techniques & Routines.
- Manage project team workload and project allocation according to Project manager skills, location and project programme
- Support project issue escalation and support off track and / or complex projects
- Support the competence and growth of project managers in adjacent engineering project management functions: Warehousing & Logistics and Process & Utilities
Travel required:
- 50% travel required either within country or across other locations
Skills and Experience:
Experience
- A highly experienced manager with specific technical skills in Filling & Packaging infrastructure.
- Adept at conceptualising and developing the projects , processes and plans that will support the delivery of the business Filling & Packaging strategy.
- Will contribute to strategy development and the ability to anlayse complex issues and changes to working methods in customer work area.
- Requires the ability to influence internal and external business leaders and project teams.
- Can functionally lead a team of process specialists and project managers
Functional technical skills required
- This business area will manage the supply, storage, transport and distribution of equipment, materials and goods as well as the organisation's manufacturing and production operations. Activities include assembly; materials control and planning; managing supplier relationships; logistics and supply-chain management; purchasing; and inventory control.
Behavioural competencies required
- Leading and influencing project groups across BU’s, building plans, projects, business cases and supporting design & delivery through others & suppliers
Qualifications required
- Engineering, process, or packaging and / or project management qulaifications
Location and Language capability
- Candidates need to either be based in Germany or a German Speaker
- Fluent in written and verbal communication in English and German
