Operation Director
In this role, you will overall plan and coordinate the operation and logistics management, plan, lead, organize, coordinate and control various production and logistics activities, make full use of various resources in case of safe production, and ensure quality, quantity, low cost and OTD.
This role report to General Manager and it is located in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province of China.
Your Responsibilities
- Plan workshop capacity, improve manpower, materials, equipment, tools and other resources management;
- Make production plan, implement and ensure production schedule. Monitor production status to ensure production safety, quantity, quality, cost to meet OTD;
- Responsible for the logistics management, confirm the delivery plan, track the actual delivery, coordinate the warehouse inventory to ensure the normal operation of the logistics system;
- Detect abnormal conditions, respond and solve quickly, analyze the causes, formulate preventive measures and track the implementation effect, and constantly improve and enhance the production management efficiency;
- Control and improve the process flow, investigate and solve quality problems;
- Participate in the action plan and implementation of improving production efficiency and product quality;
- Site management, supervision of site safety and clean production, optimization and improvement of site management level;
- Cooperate with other teams to solve cross functional problems and improve efficiency;
- Implement team performance management, personnel evaluation, incentive and training plans, key position talent pipeline, and improve subordinates' knowledge and skills;
- Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.
Your Profile
- Bachelor degree or above
- Mechanical manufacturing or mechanical engineering and automation
- Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing
- Proficient using drawing software (CAD) and MS-Office
- Related training in manufacturing site management
- 15+ years of pressure vessel manufacturing experience in welding or machinery, 8+ years of operation management experience
- Specialty knowledge & skill: strong ability to read and draw, proficient in machining and welding technology, familiar with equipment characteristics, familiar with product inspection methods, with strong site management experience and ability to analyze and solve problems
- Strong organizational ability and master certain problem analysis methods
